Figure it’s down only about 40% for a weekend of about $17 million. Elemental - Disney/Pixar took another big risk with this film, making a film that was pretty intellectual (and maybe a little homework-y) in a market where the big grossing films are coming out of Illumination and other populist IP’s like Sonic and Mario Brothers.
