In both cases, there was a Disney/Marvel grossing about $80 million more than Guardians 3 is going to do this weekend (Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness in 2022 and Avengers: Endgame’s 2nd weekend in 2019), so in the YTD total, we’ll give a little back this weekend.

Since we've had a couple of incidents lately where the issues were either poorly thought out, or poorly communicated to the membership, they 'have to do better'. Anyway, based on something I heard from Ginny Thomas on Harlan Crowe's Jet going from DC to Baltimore for Dinner, here are some thoughts on this weekend's box-office. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol III - A year ago, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness started showing us that it was a little front loaded when it was flat from its first Friday to Saturday.

But fingers crossed that doesn’t happen. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol III - There’s a lot of commonality between the Marvel audience and the F&F audience, so it’s no surprise this is down this weekend after it’s rock solid hold last week.
