But either way this was a BRM and this is a great accomplishment. Barbarian - Even though the exit polls that I was privy to were just okay, all week I’ve been hearing really good word of mouth on this thriller.
Friday, October 7, 2022 First weekend of October 2022

The drop from last Friday looks a lot like the week 2 drop for Barbarian a couple of weeks ago, and that ended up down only 38% in the 2nd weekend.
Friday, November 18, 2022 Third weekend of November 2022

On the heels of Banshees of Inishirin, Searchlight is doing some really nice business with this upscale thriller. Right now it's got a fairly similar screen average to September's Barbarian, but this film is on almost 50% more screens.
Friday, September 8, 2023 Second weekend of September 2023
In the note
Following the same pattern we’ve seen lately, we’ll crush last year's total ( Barbarian and a decent $4.5 million Bollywood film) and maybe get close to doubling it, and similarly we’ll be well behind 2019 where It Chapter 2 grosses a terrific $91.1 million.
