The phrase that came up more than once was ‘what if A24 had All Quiet on the Western Front’? It’s certainly an interesting thought, and since the film has a lot of scope and some crossover potential, would a successful theatrical run translate into more Nominations? Second (as a Member of what used to be called the Public Relations Branch and over the last couple of years became the Junior Publicist Branch), we need more transparency from the Academy with voting results announced.

Even though I’m a big fan of All Quiet on the Western Front (after being blown away by it at a screening in a Theater), just like Top Gun Maverick it’s not the same on TV (and I wonder how much better it would have done on Sunday had it had a legitimate theatrical release) plus the history of Oscar winners on streamers is not good.
